
Is This Deck Meta?
This deck was never meta since it lacks the ability to destroy the enemy backrow and is not able to play through card effect negatations. The Red Dragon Archfiend archtype used to be a very simple archtype consisting of attacking with attack power synchro boss monsters and using spell cards to gain a field advantage or to help make the attack successful. The Red Dragon Archfiend monsters are a unique archtype, where they use two types of monster: non-tuner monsters and tuner monster. In additon, they use to specialize in bringing out level 8 synchro monster and then synchro climb into their level 9, or level 10, or level 12 synchro monsters until the new additons of Red Rising Dragon, Crimson Resonator, and Red SuperNova Dragon.
Playing Style
Compared to the more passive "Stardust Dragon", which specializes in negating card effects and overall defense, "Red Dragon Archfiends" have a more smash mouth strategy, revolving around destruction, battle oriented effects, ATK increasing, Special Summoning Tuner monsters and negation, resulting on boards filled with Synchro monsters of over 3000 ATK that can quickly overwhelm the opponent. The "Red Dragons" are designed to have synergy with the "Resonator" archetype, many of which have Special Summon conditions to facilitate Synchro Summons and, furthermore, Double Tuning.
To start off, the level 8 "Red Dragon Archfiends" focus on simple destruction of the enemy's monsters under certain conditions, in order to quickly gain or recover field advantage over the opponent and push them into a corner, then use them as bridges to the more powerful evolved forms. The original "Red Dragon Archfiend" destroys Defense Position monsters, "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend" destroys all monsters in Attack Position besides itself while "Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend" destroys special summoned monsters weaker than itself.
Main Combo Cards
This card Crimson Resonator is the main tuner monster used to bring out your combo essential level 6 dark synchro, Red Rising Dragon. Also Crimson Resonator is used to bring out two extra tuner resonator monster which is then used to make your level 12 synchro boss monster.
Effect: If you control no monsters: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If the only other monster you control is exactly 1 DARK Dragon Synchro Monster: You can Special Summon up to 2 "Resonator" monsters from your hand or Deck, except "Crimson Resonator". You can only use each effect of "Crimson Resonator" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except DARK Dragon Synchro Monsters, the turn you activate either of this card's effects.

This card Red Rising Dragon is the main dark synchro level 6 monster used to bring out your essential combo piece, crimson resonator. Also Red Rising Dragon can be used to synchro climb from level 6 to either your level 8, level 9, level 10 or level 12 synchro monsters.
Summon Materials Requirements: 1 Fiend Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters.
Effect:
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 "Resonator" monster in your GY; Special Summon it. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck the turn you activate this effect, except DARK Dragon Synchro Monsters. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 2 Level 1 "Resonator" monsters in your GY; Special Summon both.

This card Red SuperNova Dragon is the main level 12 dark synchro boss monster in your extra deck. Also, you 99.9% would want to bring out this card as fast as possible since it has high attack power and a useful effect.
Summon Materials Requirements: 3 Tuners + 1 + non-Tuner Synchro
Effect: Must first be Synchro Summoned. Gains 500 ATK for each Tuner in your GY. Cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, when your opponent's monster effect is activated, or when an opponent's monster declares an attack (Quick Effect): You can activate this effect; banish this card, also banish all cards your opponent controls. Once per turn, during your next End Phase after this card was banished by its own effect: Special Summon this banished card.
Two Card Combo Engine
Your starting hand will be 1 Crimson Resonator and any level 4 monster from your deck.
Use the effect of crimson resonator. To special summon itself to the field when you control no face-up cards on the field.
Then normal Summon any level 4 non-tuner monster from hand.
Then synchro summon into Red Rising Dragon using the crimson resonator and the level 4 non-tuner monsters and use it's effect to summon crimson resonator from the graveyard.
Then use crimson resonator's effect to special summon out creation resonator and synkron resonator.
Then synchro summon your Red SuperNova Dragon using your level 6 Red Rising Dragon, level 3 creation resonator, level 1 synkron resonator, and the level 2 crimson resonator.
After activate synkron resonator's effect from the graveyard and add creation resonator back to your hand from the graveyard.
Your field will now have a Red SuperNova Dragon with 5,000 atk points and its effects of banishing this card to banish all of your enemy's monster cards when a monster activates it's effects or declares an attack. Then this card return back to your field during your next end phase.
